What this is

AppVitals checks public pages, a public API address, or backend settings you submit. It is an automated check. It is not a security certification, a penetration test, or a promise that an app is safe.

What you agree to

Check only a site, API, or app you own, or one you have permission to test. You tick a box before each check. The server refuses the check without it.

Do not scan someone else's property, disrupt a service, or collect personal data from a response. The notes are for your own coding tool. You decide what to change. We do not edit your app.

The score

The score is the output of a script. A high score is not a certificate. A low score is not proof of a break-in. A private dashboard, a database, or a private repository is outside the check.

A share link holds the score and short headlines. We do not keep a copy. You choose where to post it. A “Checked by AppVitals” badge means an automated check ran. It does not mean the app passed an audit.

Liability

The free check is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Park & Seo LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or other damages from using the check, relying on a score, or sharing a link or badge.

If a court does not allow that full exclusion, liability for the free check is $0. If we offer a paid service, liability for that service is capped at the amount you paid us for it.

The Full report is $9, a launch price, paid once. If we do not deliver the report, you can ask for a refund within 7 days through the contact form.

Texas law

These terms use the laws of the State of Texas, without pulling in another state's conflict-of-law rules.

Questions go through the contact form. We do not publish an email address.

Changes

We may change the check or these terms. This page is the current version.
