Acceptable use

Only what you own

Use AppVitals on a website, API, or app backend you own, or one the owner has allowed you to test. The checkbox is required. The server rejects the check without it.

Do not paste someone else's production keys. Do not point the check at a host you do not control to probe it, take it down, or copy its data.

Read-only

The check does not insert, update, or delete data. It does not create accounts. It sends a small number of GET, HEAD, or OPTIONS requests and then stops.

Do not bypass the rate limit, the bot check, or the permission box. Do not resell the service as a certification. The badge means an automated check ran, not that the app passed an audit.

Secrets

Do not put a secret in a path, a project URL, or a share caption.

If you break this

We may refuse further checks from your network. Liability is limited as described in the Terms, under Texas law.
